The touchpad on my laptop is malfunctioning. What is the problem and what should I do about it?
It’s still working, just not as well. Sometimes it gets stuck when I try to scroll up and it doesn’t work to click with my finger on the touchpad. I have to click with the buttons. It’s not a huge deal, but I’m wondering why this would happen. It was working fine an hour ago. I shut down my computer. I didn’t spill anything on it. I put it in its case and came home from work. I opened it back up and now it’s acting weird. How do I fix this?
Just clean the pad off, just in case, and sometimes when you have dry hands the touch pad doesn’t work as well, it happens to me a lot.
