Is it possible to replace a dagger?
My family is Catholic so it would object to mt practice Wicca, so if I say demand for "Ceremonial dagger," I'm sure you jump the gun. I'm pretty anti-gun and I do not believe in holding a dagger, which just got a connotation of violence and it is never good in any religious practice. I have a good pen with a sharp pencil. As it can be used to represent the air could be used as a modeling tool or athame instead of the traditional dagger dagger? Jumping the gun I mean is likely to start throwing bibles to me, and assuming that Wicca is a "satanic" religion, like any other misinformed person, I had a conversation on the subject. I'm glad I can use my pen like a dagger. It may seem strange, but one of the few things that I feel connected to my toolbox in Wicca, probably because I've had for years. Thank you all.
Absolutely, a cutter, a pencil or pen engraving is a good substitute for a dagger. After all, are tools of the craft and intellect, and therefore the symbols of air as the athame. You can also use a wand whyever not. Some people place the tube in the East. Most certainly not ask her family to offer a dagger. You must accept responsibility to provide their own tools. I have no dagger. I use a knife more than usual, but is reserved for ritual use only.
