Any tips for removing chewing gum from my car’s carpet mat ?
Hi, what’s the best way to remove trodden-in chewing gum from the carpet mat in my car ? Any tips much appreciated.
Try WD40, I would let it soak for a few minutes.
I used it on my work pants when I sat in gum.
I tried ice, didn’t work.
As soon as I sprayed WD40 on the gum, it started to dissolve.
After washing, gum was gone but left an oily stain, Dawn dishwashing liquid took oil out in first washing.
WD40 is fish oil, who knows how and why it works but it does.
