Is the Virgin Mary and Our Lady of Guadalupe the same?
I know that "Our Lady of Guadalupe" in Mexico has been by Juan Diego and understand that their image was in his poncho and still exists today. In this image there is an angel holding a "Our Lady." It which, if any, is the importance of the angel? I was drawn to this picture for some time now and you want to know more. Although it has been seen in Mexico, is acceptable for non-Mexicans to praise this picture? O is considered to Mexicans? Thanks to all who can clarify this point.
Yes, the Virgin Mary is one with the Virgin of Guadalupe and Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Knock, and several best-selling titles. When a title comes with a place name, is simply the name where it appeared. During these appearances, she brings her orders and / or messages from her son. It is perfectly acceptable to non-Mexicans honor Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe. My husband and I have an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in our yard. (Done flee Witnesses LORD, for any reason. It is also suggestive image of Mary in Revelation: a woman with a warm sun and the moon under her feet, and crowned with twelve stars. I've never seen no mention that the angel can say, if my proposal is that this little angel is all the angels in heaven, which of course would be for the honor of Mary Queen of Heaven and the Mother of God, like us.
