A kippah (yarmulke or plural kippot) is the Hebrew word for skullcap in Yiddish and know Yarmulke. It is a rounded cap worn by Jewish men and boys, and sometimes by men and women in the Conservative and Reform communities. According to Jewish law, men are obliged to cover their heads saying the name of God when pray or recite a blessing also study the Torah and the synagogue.

The power of tradition is wearing a yarmulke in the Talmud, which is the central text the law of ethics and Jewish customs.
