Am I right to be upset at my fiance when he takes communion?
My fiance and I are both catholic. He drinks from the communion chalice at mass. I find this filthy as many people drink before him from the same cup. He then tries to kiss me and I do not want him to transfer germs to me. He says that he will not stop because he has been doing this for years. Every time he does it I cringe as it really bothers me. How can I accept this? He is very stubborn and I know he will never stop. I am a health care provider and I know what a health hazard this is.
Grow up! Let him be. He is following what he believes.
