How I can determine the value of a collectible?
In the mid-1960s, my parents bought 13 figures (one for each original colony) Franklin Mint. They are pewter sculptures of characters from throughout American history. The first character was "Daniel Boone type" with a long gun and the last Armstrong was a "moon Neil in the character." The detail is extraordinary. Before my father died, he sent me. They were slightly damaged by heat during transport. (Tin is a very soft metal, especially when hot). I want to determine whether it is worth the cost of repair. I have no shipping boxes original, this is the way they are damaged. But I have the description of the cards that accompany them.
