If your mother was a Roman Catholic are you?
After my mother died at 96, I received many of his personal papers. When I saw again the other day, I found his birth certificate and found he was baptized in the Catholic religion. When he moved to South Carolina with my father was born in the city where there was no church RC, but there was an Episcopal church and joined it. I was baptized as an Episcopalian. I heard that if one parent was a RC, you are too. Not so. I am now a deist.
That's not true, you are only Roman Catholic, if they are baptized, and even then its only in the eyes of the Roman Catholic Church, which may be what we want to be.
