The Church of Laodicea
Laodicea. (3:14-22) The identification of Jesus here as Faithful and True (3:14) is clearly intended to leave Laodicea infallible knowledge of his diagnosis. Not to be confused about the evaluation to follow. "If I can have your attention please! I know what I mean true … "
(3:15-16) Is it conceivable that Westerners feel comfortable that Jesus is saying you prefer an enemy that "some time "friend?" How many times we were wrong to think that Jesus must be pleased with what we can get. Well, we're right, I'm not perfect, but I'm not as bad as it used to be and look around the world worse. Jesus must be pleased with me! This self-righteous brings upon us the fire of purification, if not something worse.
I guess the scariest part of this message is that Laodicea is not aware of their poverty (03:17), where – Smyrna does not seem to be aware of their wealth (2:9).
(03:18) The advice to "buy" God brings us back to Isaiah Chapter 55. Here, the prophet of God calls people to buy their needs without money, and listening to God to meet your needs. In Revelation, God's gold is also offered, but the price of gold may be on fire. The cost clothes to cover our nakedness spiritual good before God is total commitment to Christ. The price of spiritual vision is a substance known only to the sky and have acquired. We can only imagine how high is the price.
(3:19) We have heard our parents say things like, "Do not spank because I love you" you forget where they got this idea, and it is true. God the Father knows how to raise children. These words echo in Laodicea Letter to the Hebrews 12:05 ", the Lord loves He corrects, "and even that is a quote from Psalm 94:12.
As with all other churches, all ages, not just ours, has a church like this. Heat through all generations. These are Christians who believe they have all this but did nothing. They are materialistic satisfied to come to church but seem absent from the Lord. Jesus is the door (3:20) of a particular church, written to come, as always. Any church member who hears oral arguments be blessed.
Laodicea church, and all kinds of Laodicea today can be thankful that this letter is a stern warning, not an announcement of a Trial come "whatever." What begins as this message of doom becomes severe agitation in consciousness, an outlet for those who want it.
Once again, the winner is promised a reward, because even in Laodicea are winners and receive the message. Here is the winner in fact promised a place on the throne with Jesus. Been a people no longer expect? Think about it! Feed the tree of life, freedom from eternal death, Custom identification of God himself, the authority over the nations with Jesus, an entry in the register of Heaven, the sinless perfection, as if sin had never seen the clothes, the security of being a true pillar in the temple of God.

Oh! So how do I overcome it, Lord? Show me the way! Let me not to be missed! Thus, beginning in the Book of Revelation same, 12:11. Overcome, as many issues in the Apocalypse is not new to this latest book. In Romans 12:21 Paul tells us not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. And in the first epistle of John, the "fathers" and "youth" in Christ we have said that up to bad, because the Word of God abides in them (I John 2:13-14). Even the "children" in the Spirit (John 4:4) have overcome the world in us, because He is bigger than the one in the world.
This is John, who laid the foundations for overcoming of the doctrine of believers in John 16:33 when he quotes Jesus says that believers have difficulty, but we can be happy because Jesus has overcome the world. "
In short, Jesus is the winner. He and his Word, his Spirit in me. As I continue in life, I'm a winner too. And if a winner, an heir of all the promises given, this list of wonderful blessings we have come so strongly in these seven updates and important points.
