So what the hell is a seed pearl?
A pearl is a pearl of very small seeds, which measures a few millimeters to millimeters that can be used in all types of sewing.
Who makes them?
The major producers are Japan and the Republic Czech. France, India and China to take. However, the French accounts are metallic and are used primarily to renew antiques. Indian and Chinese counterparts are not as uniform as Japanese and Czech so that quality is not as good.
How big a grain of seed?
It depends. The standard (From what I understand) is the number of seeds one inch (or unit, that the origin is debatable). For example, if 11 drops are 1 inch (unit), which is a size 11 heel. Sizes can vary in size from 5 to 24 years. Whether or not less than 24 do not know is the smallest I've found so far.
Some they have some kind of strange or gloss finish to them, what's up with that?

A bundle of filaments seeds. For example, a size 11 Hank would have 12 chapters of 20 inches of strung beads. However, the size of the pearl is determined the number and length of the serial line.
